A. JOB DESCRIPTION:      

1. Conduct quality inspections, supervision, and control according to company standards and procedures, including:

• Inspecting incoming materials.
• Performing welding inspections for structures, tanks, vessels, and pipes.
• Conducting visual and dimensional inspections of structures, vessels, and tanks.
• Inspecting paint quality.
• Conducting pressure tests.

2. Prepare and submit regular inspection reports to managers. Document non-conformance reports and collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions.

3. Review and verify all supplier documents and submission documents to customers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control records.

4. Recommend improvements to company standards based on manager approval.

• Be available for same-day business travel using a company car or personal motorbike (with allowance).
• Develop and implement quality control plans for water treatment equipment and processes.
• Review and analyze inspection data to identify potential quality issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, production staff, and other departments to ensure efficient quality control procedures.
• Stay informed of industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

B. REQUIREMENTS:      

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field; experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings in English.
• Knowledge of materials used in structural components, storage tanks, vessels, and piping (JIS, ASTM, or equivalent standards).
• Familiarity with ASME VIII, ASME IX, and ASME B31.3 standards is an advantage.
• Proficient in quality control methodologies and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate in English; proficiency in Japanese is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with AutoCAD 2D and other engineering software.
• Report to: Team Manager

C. ALLOWANCE & BENEFIT:      

• Package salary: Net 550 -630 USD (Negotiable)
