Our Partner is leading in WWT solutions, operation & maintenance services, and environmental engineering, and is seeking a Senior O&M Engineer to support the reliable and efficient operation of treatment facilities.
The Senior O&M Engineer will be responsible for supporting operation and maintenance activities, coordinating with customers and contractors, monitoring plant performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliable and efficient operation of treatment facilities.
A. Job Objectives – Senior O&M Engineer Objectives
The Senior O&M Engineer is responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring plant reliability through effective maintenance planning and site monitoring. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to provide technical support, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
B. Duties & Responsibilities
- Support operation and maintenance activities for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including site inspections, performance monitoring, and maintenance planning.
- Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure effective operation, troubleshooting, and project execution.
- Assist in technical documentation, engineering proposals, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
C. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operation, maintenance, or engineering roles within water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Good knowledge of water treatment plants (WTP), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), and related chemical treatment processes.
- Hands-on experience in plant operation, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and contractor management.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Able to work independently and manage site activities proactively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
