Our Partner is leading in industrial wastewater treatment solutions, seeking a Project Manager (Water/ Waste Water Treatment) to oversee project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement activities, installation progress, and successful project delivery.
The role offers an opportunity to lead engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for industrial water and wastewater treatment projects while ensuring quality, cost, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved.
A. Job Objectives
The Project Manager Waste Water Treatment is responsible for ensuring effective project execution through schedule management, cost control, contract administration, procurement monitoring, installation tracking, risk management, and reporting. The role aims to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and according to client requirements
B. Duties & Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead and coordinate wastewater treatment projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Identify project risks, potential delays, and implement corrective actions when required.
2. Budget, Contract & Commercial Management
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and support project claims, variations, and payment milestones.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize project profitability and cost efficiency.
3. Procurement & Resource Coordination
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track the status of materials, equipment, and subcontracted activities to support project timelines.
- Resolve bottlenecks and resource constraints that may impact project delivery.
4. Site Management, Quality & Compliance
- Oversee installation activities and monitor progress against project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards throughout project execution.
- Follow up inspections, testing activities, punch lists, and corrective actions to achieve successful project completion.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain project reports covering progress, costs, procurement status, and key risks.
- Ensure proper control of project drawings, technical documents, approvals, as-built records, and O&M manuals.
- Provide accurate project updates and recommendations to management.
C. Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in water or wastewater treatment projects.
- Good knowledge of engineering, fabrication, construction, and installation activities.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documents.
- Able to use AutoCAD software for checking drawing.
