Our partner specializes in wastewater treatment, providing efficient and sustainable solutions to various industries – are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with skills in using 3D software in the Water/Wastewater industry for their projects.
A. Job objectives:
- Design and develop 3D models for water treatment systems.
- Create piping, structural designs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality designs.
- Contribute to the success of engineering projects.
B. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models for water treatment systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Design general arrangement (GA) layouts and plot plans based on P&ID diagrams.
- Prepare BOM and RFQ for piping, structural components, tanks, and other mechanical parts.
- Design piping systems, skids, vessels, tanks, piping racks, and platforms, ensuring alignment with specifications, P&ID, and layout requirements.
- Generate 2D shop drawings and isometric drawings from 3D models.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
C. Job requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D and piping system design with Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and capable of reading P&ID, technical documents, and engineering drawings in English.
- Knowledgeable in water treatment, chemical engineering, fluid engineering, material selection, and fabrication drawings (preferably JIS & PVC piping).
- Strong English communication skills, able to work independently and in a team.
- Dedicated to high-quality work and company growth, with a strong motivation to learn.
- Preference for candidates with experience in Japanese companies.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with material standards for structures, storage tanks, vessels, and piping (JIS or equivalent).
- Experience with Advanced Steel, structural analysis software, and BIM software.
