HRPV’s partner in the environmental solution is looking for a Mechanical Team Leader to join their growing technical team. This role focuses on 3D piping design, mechanical layouts, and team coordination for water treatment projects, offering hands-on exposure to full-cycle engineering design in an international working environment.
A. Job Objective
Lead and deliver accurate 3D piping and mechanical designs for water treatment projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, project requirements, and timelines while providing guidance to junior engineers.
B. Key Responsibilities

Develop and review 3D piping and mechanical models using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Create and validate GA drawings, plot plans, and layouts based on P&ID
- Lead design of piping systems, skids, tanks, vessels, pipe racks, and platforms
- Produce and review 2D shop drawings and isometric drawings
- Prepare and verify BOM and RFQ for piping and mechanical components
- Coordinate design activities across team members and stakeholders to meet technical standards and project schedules
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and quality control for junior engineers
- Support project planning, workload allocation, and continuous improvement in design processes
C. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering

5+ years of experience in piping design / AutoCAD Plant 3D, with exposure to project coordination or lead responsibilities

Strong ability to read and interpret P&ID and engineering drawings in English

Solid knowledge of water treatment systems, fluid mechanics, and piping materials (JIS/PVC preferred)

Good English communication; able to lead discussions and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

Proven ability to work independently and lead a small team

Experience with BIM, Advanced Steel, or structural tools is a plus
