HRPV’s partner in the waste water/ water treatment industry is recruiting a Sales Engineer Manager to lead their business development and sales team. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, technical proposals, and managing a sales team to achieve strategic business goals.

A. Job Objective

The Sales Engineer Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing sales strategies that secure revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer partnerships. The ultimate goal is to strengthen the company’s position as a trusted provider of water treatment solutions, while developing a high-performing sales team capable of adapting to evolving market demands.

B. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.

  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, ensuring trust and satisfaction.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and client needs to adjust business direction.

  • Lead and coach a team of sales engineers, setting clear targets and supporting their professional growth.

  • Deliver consistent training and mentoring programs to enhance team expertise.

  • Track and forecast sales performance, providing regular updates and reports to management.

  • Identify and pursue new markets, driving expansion and competitive advantage.

  • Stay informed about technological developments and professional standards in the field.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and effectively communicate strategic goals to the sales team.

C. Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or another relevant discipline.

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in sales, with strong exposure to the industrial engineer.

  • Demonstrated success in B2B technical sales, proposal preparation, and business planning.

  • Proven record in managing sales teams and achieving strategic growth objectives.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Professional command of English (written and spoken) and Japanese language ability is a plus.

  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to inspire a team.

  • Willingness to travel frequently for business.
