HRPV’s CLIENT is a leading plastic packaging corporation in Indonesia, specializing in manufacturing and trading plastic bottles and all kinds of plastic products for the domestic and export markets. The company has built many plastic factories in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and provides high quality plastic packaging for industries: food and beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, lubricants as well as like plastic components… 

Industry: Plastic (PET/HDPE) 

A. Main responsibilityl:

• Coordinate technical and non-technical performance, operations, and administrative tasks. Oversee the preparation, trial, and completion of maintenance for Blow Machines, Injection Machines, and Decoration (BM/IM & Dec.) according to customer procedures.
• Ensure regular and corrective maintenance activities for machinery and equipment to guarantee continuous and efficient production operations.

B. Scope of operational responsibility:

1. Manpower (People Management) 

• Develop self-competence and that of subordinates through education and training (on-the-job training and formal programs). 
• Optimize human resource potential according to the organizational structure. 
• Build a positive work environment and relationships by setting good examples and effective communication. 

2. Planning and Decision Making Authority 

• Plan improvements by following technological developments, processes, and systems related to BM/IM & Dec. to achieve efficient and effective results continuously. 
• Plan and coordinate regular and emergency maintenance activities for equipment and machinery to ensure uninterrupted production operations. 

3. Operational (Scope of Operational Responsibilities) 

• Coordinate maintenance performance or trials in BM/IM & Dec. according to the schedule from the planning department. 
• Responsible for implementing corrective actions and preventive measures for issues arising during the maintenance process. 
• Monitor and evaluate maintenance results from shift reports. 
• Evaluate corrective and preventive actions related to achieving BM/IM & Dec. targets. 
• Assess customer complaints, resolve them, and implement preventive measures. 
• Objectively evaluate the work performance of subordinates. 
• Provide management with ideas on technical and non-technical issues related to maintenance efficiency within the section. 
• Supervise and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for production machinery and equipment. 

C. Communication/Job Relationship:

1. Internal:

• Communicate with all relevant departments. 

2. External 

• Communicate with machinery suppliers regarding technical production and maintenance issues. 
• Communicate with customers for any necessary technical issues. 

D. Job qualification:

1. Formal Education:

• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in a relevant field such as Engineer/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic. 

2. Experiences:

• Minimum 5 years in related position, refer in plastic packaging 

3. Skills:

• Experience and good understanding of utility machinery (chillers, compressors) and production machinery (injection and blow machines). 
• Experience in maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment. 
• Fluency in English. 
• Experience managing 30-50 people.
